Counselors Will Know and Be Able to ...

  • Use the Counselor Match Tool dashboard to monitor progress of senior wish lists by focus academic segments (3.0+ GPA, 16+ ACT, 2.00-2.99 GPA, 16+ ACT, <2.0 GPA, <16 ACT)
  • Support fall and spring opt-in campaigns to ensure 75% of seniors are signed up to receive Nudge messages 

Directors Will Know and Be Able to ...

  • Monitor progress of senior wish lists using the Counselor Match Tool dashboard and support team; ensure timely data entry national systems, including Salesforce Alumni database and Overgrad 
  • Confirm access to YouScience career aptitude assessment and Overgrad application management tool for all students by the start of junior year
  • Monitor and manage fall and spring opt-in campaigns to ensure 75% of seniors are signed up for Nudge messages
  • Support early decision application work ahead of the first November 1 deadline
  • Ensure all seniors complete a quality personal statement by October 1 (may have been completed in junior year)
  • Start participation in KIPP Foundation-led director of college and career counseling coaching (time commitment: two times per month) 

Principals Will Know and Be Able to ...

  • Support enabling conditions for a strong Match start including adequate counseling and seminar instructor staffing, proper resource and time allocation for seminar prep periods, counseling 1:1s, family programming
  • Monitor progress to regional senior application submission goals using the Counselor Match Tool dashboard and support team in meeting the November 30 deadline
  • Monitor fall and spring opt-in campaigns to ensure 75% of seniors are signed up for Nudge messages
  • Monitor early decision application progress to ensure cohort is on track to submit quality applications by the first November 1 deadline
  • Monitor personal statement completion to ensure all seniors have a quality personal statement by October 1
