  • Complete classroom walkthroughs on Strong Start culture criteria and respond to trends
  • Monitor and respond to attendance data via weekly or biweekly meeting
  • Monitor and respond to culture data at least monthly
  • Coordinate with grade-level leads to structure recurring grade-level meetings

Build and Manage Systems:  

  • Use plan, launch, monitor, and respond cycle for Strong Start that invests and mobilizes staff and students and leads to Arc outcomes 

Facilitate Leadership Team Meetings:  

  • Use 1:1 meetings to monitor highest-leverage data (including progress toward performance goals and Arc priorities) and respond through reprioritization, coaching, and/or resource allocation 

Drive Professional Development:  

  • Use schoolwide teacher- and student-level data to determine adjustments to professional development (PD) scope and sequence  

Lead School Walkthroughs: 

  • Facilitate leadership team (LT) walkthroughs with a focus on norming expectations (either culture or rigor) that result in measurable improvements in alignment 
  • Facilitate LT walkthroughs with a focus on coaching that results in measurable skill development of LT members 

Execute Leadership Team Coaching Cycles:  

  • Identify the highest-leverage activities to observe (either live or recorded) and coach based on Arc priorities, current data, and LT development focus
  • Facilitate coaching conversations that result in LT member proficiency of prioritized Arc skills (leading PD, observation/feedback, internalization and planning)
